Today, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF) joined National Action Network, Conference of National Black Churches, and other civil rights groups and Black clergy members in calling on congressional leaders to ensure that state and local governments have the resources they need to support communities of color during the COVID-19 pandemic. The letter sent to congressional leadership makes it clear that funding should not be used as a bargaining chip to aid corporations and put employees at risk. Read the full letter here.
