Today, the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. (LDF) signed onto a letter with the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights and 99 other civil rights organizations regarding the need to provide robust funding for the United States Postal Service (USPS). Nearly half of USPS employees are people of color, many of whom remain on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic. USPS recently indicated that without proper funding, the services they provide will be at risk in September.
